Reiki (pronounced RAY- key) is a Japanese ancient healing
technique.
It is a natural, non-invasive, relaxing way to help the body/mind in it’s
own natural healing process. It’s also a great “stress-buster”.
~We start the afternoon with a guided meditation,
followed by Reiki Healings,
ending with a sharing session.

DEAD FEAST
Shamanic Journey to Meet the Ancestors
with Aveana Deerheart
Saturday, October 30 at 7pm Fee: $25
Celebrations in many traditions -- All Hallows Eve, All Souls Day, the Celtic time of Samhain, the Feast of the Dead -- all occur around this time of the year in conjunction with the ending of the harvest. It is a sacred time when the veils between the worlds are thin, facilitating connection with the spirits of our ancestors.
Join us on a Shamanic Journey between the worlds. In the Mohawk Iroquois tradition, ancestors are honored in a ceremony called the Dead Feast. The gathering begins with smudging and the preparing of a meal consisting of soup, cornbread, meat, fruit and a sweet, all made without salt to invite in the Spirits. *In addition to our ceremony, we will journey to our own Grandmother Guide and you are welcome to make a Corn Husk Doll to honor her.*
Please bring: a small carved pumpkin or ceramic pumpkin candle holder
a candle and holder to place inside pumpkin
drums, rattles, instruments
pictures or momentos of departed ancestor or any
historic person you wish to invite in
a pillow and blanket
dress in black or in clothing from an historic period
